Friendship means watching out for each other. Especially when it comes to our intrepid group of heroes. They are about to set out to rescue goblins from the ogre army. Just in case it turns nasty, Tessa has mounted a saddle on Jasper’s back. But how do you secure a small fairy to the back of a dragon?
Tessa went inside and got the super glue and a small length of cord that she attached to the pommel of the saddle with only an inch of space available.
“Kyl, come here,” she waved him over from the ladder and showed him the cord. “In case we take off you can stand against the pommel and use the cord as a seat belt.”
The laughter from the ladder was her first sign that Kyl might take this as an insult. She glanced over at Angel who was now holding onto the side of the ladder to keep from falling over laughing.
“I don’t think it’s funny,” Kyl said as his wings turned pink with embarrassment.

Aww. Poor guy. I definitely see how that would be embarrassing. Better that than to be left behind, though, I would think.
