Today we are taking a peek at Six Sentences from Contagion. For those of you who are unfamiliar: there was a plague on earth and now mythical creatures live among the surviving humans. Some adapted well and others are learning as they go. Rusty, a three foot tall goblin, is having a slight problem with a normal morning routine.

Tessa suggested his first stop after breakfast should be the shower. Kyl flew to help Rusty take his first-ever indoor shower, and Tessa laughed at the commotion. A few minutes later a soaking wet, still-dressed goblin came out cold and confused. Tessa took his hand and talked him through the steps, including removal of clothing.
“Next lesson, laundry.” She laughed on her way back to the kitchen.
